These terms apply to the Eir workspace, the free month and the research tools.

Service and eligibility
Eir Tech provides the Eir clinical documentation workspace through EIR TEC LTD and Eir Tech AS. Your clinic agreement identifies the contracting entity and any additional terms. Clinician accounts are intended for qualified professionals and authorised staff. You must keep your credentials secure and only process information you are authorised to use.
The free month
Each account may start one free calendar month. No card is required, and the trial does not automatically create a paid subscription or invoice. The end date is shown in your account. After expiry, new work requires an active plan. Authorised access to saved notes and exports remains available subject to applicable retention and account terms. Pricing and usage allowances are stated per plan and agreed before activation.
Clinical responsibility
Transcription and generated text can contain errors or omissions. Check the source and review all content, including medications, doses, speaker attribution, negation and clinical statements, before signing a note. You remain responsible for clinical judgement, decisions and the patient record. The workspace is not an emergency service and does not replace your authorised electronic patient record.
Patient information and agreements
Before uploading patient information, establish the appropriate lawful basis, recording permissions and written data-processing arrangements with Eir Tech. For US protected health information, a suitable BAA and processing configuration are required. Trial entitlement alone does not establish these arrangements. Use synthetic examples for initial evaluation.
Community
The clinical community is for verified psychiatrists and psychologists and is free of charge. It is for educational questions only: do not post patient records, identifiers or case details that could identify a person. Rooms are moderated, and membership can be withdrawn for misuse.
Research features
The Lyfjaberg research programme and its EEG tools are separate from the documentation workflow, with their own scope and evidence requirements. They are research only, not a diagnostic tool, and must not be relied on for clinical diagnosis, treatment decisions or emergency alerts. No CE, UKCA or FDA clearance is claimed for these research functions on this site. Research participation and further data release require separate arrangements.
Acceptable use and continuity
Do not bypass access controls, use another person's records without authority, interfere with service operation or submit unlawful material. We may restrict misuse and perform maintenance. Availability and support commitments, where agreed, are defined in your clinic contract. Keep signed records in your authorised clinical record system and follow your continuity procedure if the service is unavailable.
Privacy, changes and contact
The privacy notice explains current data handling. Clinic agreements take precedence for agreed processing and commercial terms. Material changes will be communicated through appropriate account or service notices. Contact [email protected] for questions, account closure or a clinic agreement. Nothing here excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
