Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of the EIR TEC platform, including the marketing site, the clinician workspace, the patient portal and any associated services. By signing in or using any part of the service, you agree to these terms.
1. Provider
EIR TEC LTD (England & Wales, company no. 15309722, registered office 20 Wenlock Road, London N1 7GU) and EIR TEC AS (Norway, organisation no. 936 876 242, Leikvollgata 69, 3208 Sandefjord) jointly provide the service.
2. Eligibility & accounts
Clinician accounts are provisioned through your clinic's identity provider (WorkOS / Microsoft Entra / Google / passkey). Patient access is granted via a Patient ID issued by your clinician — patients do not self-register. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and reporting suspected misuse promptly.
3. Permitted use
The service is intended for use by registered healthcare providers and the patients they treat. You must not:
- upload data you do not have legal authority to process;
- attempt to circumvent access controls or extract data belonging to other tenants;
- use the platform to provide medical advice you are not qualified to give;
- resell, sub-license or copy the service or its outputs except as expressly permitted.
4. Clinical responsibility
EIR TEC is a clinical decision-support and documentation platform. AI-generated content (journal notes, summaries, EEG analyses) is provided as an aid; the clinician remains responsible for clinical judgement, diagnosis, prescription and the contents of the patient record. You must review AI-generated material before signing it.
5. Regulatory status
The home-based EEG product and its analysis engine are pre-launch and not yet CE / UKCA marked. Where features are provided under research or pilot arrangements, separate written agreements apply.
6. Service availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may carry out maintenance, security patches and feature updates with reasonable notice. Service-level commitments, where applicable, are set out in your clinic's contract.
7. Data & privacy
Data handling is governed by our Privacy Policy and, for clinics, the Data Processing Agreement signed at onboarding. In case of conflict, the DPA governs.
8. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EIR TEC LTD and EIR TEC AS exclude liability for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits and lost data that does not arise from our negligence. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited at law (including death, personal injury or fraud).
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, except where Norwegian mandatory consumer law applies to a Norwegian end-user. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales (or, for Norwegian consumers, Sandefjord tingrett).
10. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice before taking effect.
